Kids Corner
Note from SideKix:
Kids will learn that God always keeps his promises by focusing on the story of Noah. They will get to make a rainbow windsock. The focus verse will be Genesis 9:15: "I will remember My covenant between Me and you and all the living creatures: water will never again become a flood to destroy every creature."
Although we mentioned The Jesus Storybook Bible as a resource last week, the kids actually are learning from a bible series called Little Bible Heroes written by Victoria Kovacs. This series is perfect for kids 2+ and fits our curriculum, time, and child age restraints.
Within the The Jesus Story Book Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones, the kids will be learning from pages 38-47. Some extension activities include: measuring out the ark size as a family, talking about the promises God keeps with us everyday, and keeping a weather journal of observations with your child. If you have any curriculum or craft questions please direct them to Elizabeth Smith at [email protected].
Craft Need:
Thank you for all the donations, we are currently in need of 2 liter bottles, paper towel rolls, and glue sticks.
