COVID Mitigation Plan
We are thrilled to be able to meet together again. And while the COVID situation is dramatically different than it was in 2020/21, we’re still in the midst of some unique circumstances that require an extra level of care and attention. The leadership team has been carefully and prayerfully considering our options and looking to the examples of local churches, public and private schools, and the Mayo Clinic for guidance on how to mitigate risk and create an environment that prioritizes care for our community.
We have landed on the following:
- While COVID transmission rates in our area are considered “high” or “substantial” by the CDC, we are asking everyone age 2 and older to please wear a mask when we gather. This is consistent with what several local schools and preschools are doing, and our close ties to the medical community have led us to the conclusion that this is the most prudent way to approach gathering. When our transmission rates slip below this threshold, we will happily revisit this.
- Please stay home if you are even mildly ill.
- We are not currently sharing food during our Friday morning gathering.
- We will continue to modify this plan as the COVID situation in our community evolves over time.
