Tuesday Evening Group

Here's what you need to know.

We are a multi-denominational group of 10-15 women who meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm in the comfort of our homes. Many of us are working professionals who enjoy taking a break from busy schedules to connect, encourage and support each other, pray for one another and learn more about the Bible together. We enjoy social gatherings and participating in volunteer service projects in the community.

We do not provide childcare for our meetings, but babies in arms are welcome to join.

Lastly, book scholarships are granted upon request.

Fall Study:

Refreshed: Meeting with Jesus, Becoming Love in Action

Author: Cleere Cherry Reaves
Purchasing Information:
Amazon
Homework: 10-20 Minutes / Day

Description:
How would your life change if you woke up each morning with fresh hope for a new day? It's so easy to let the everyday tasks of life weigh us down. Run on autopilot. Go through the motions, telling ourselves we are ''getting through'' each day. But we weren’t designed to just ''get by,'' we were meant to thrive.

This study will dig into different passages and stories from Scripture, allowing us to get a firsthand look at the person of love Himself as He worked miracles with His own hands and the hands of His people. As we witness real love in action, we will learn to be more and more like Jesus. And isn’t that why we are here? Is there a greater dream, a more important commitment, or a higher calling than that?

In this study your heart will be encouraged and challenged as you read and reflect on God’s Word. It's a beautiful thing that we have the authority to change our rhythm, show up differently, and live from a place of abundance. Gather your friends, or just grab a pen. Either way, I believe we will grasp a greater understanding of the “more” life that you and I are after. I know He will meet us right where we are and refresh our weary souls.

Spring Study:

Sweeter than Honey: A Bible Study on Enjoying God in His Word

Author: Gretchen Saffles
Homework:
10-15 Minutes Daily
Purchasing Information:
Amazon

Description:
In Sweeter than Honey, Gretchen Saffles and Maggie Combs teach the value of studying God’s Word while providing the tools to apply it to your life. Discover three principles that can be applied every time you open God’s Word: gather knowledge, digest the big ideas, and grow in godliness. As you develop these principles, you’ll experience the challenging but transformative work of building a deeper relationship with God through the pages of his Word.

How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! - Psalm 119:103
