Here's what you need to know.
We are a multi-denominational group of 100 women who meet on Friday mornings from 9:00-11:15am at Autumn Ridge Church throughout the school year. Many of us are stay-at-home moms, while some of us work part-time or have flexible full-time jobs and are able to meet on Friday mornings. All of us look forward to our time together on Friday mornings where we connect, encourage and support each other, pray for one another, and learn more about the Bible together. We spend a short time worshipping together before breaking into our small groups.
Our Sidekix Childcare offers a fun and safe place for our children (ages 6+ months to preschool) to socialize and participate in a weekly Bible lesson with their peers. We know that a huge part of being able to relax and enjoy your morning is knowing that your children are safe and happy. The mission of Side By Side’s childcare ministry is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children, ages 6 months and older, enabling mothers to meaningfully worship and connect during small group study sessions.
Childcare and book scholarships are granted upon request. If you need financial assistance, all you have to do is ask or indicate so when you register.

Fall Study:Beautifully Surrendered: God's Heart for his Daughters
Author: Love God Greatly Homework amount: Average 30-60 min/week Purchasing note: Leaders will put in a bulk order for the books in order to receive a group and shipping discount from the publisher. Description Life isn't always easy, but God is always with us and He is always good. In this six-week study, we will explore the stories of more than 30 women in the Bible and develop a deeper appreciation for the road they traveled as we begin to see their lives in a new way. Join us as we study these Old and New Testament stories using the SOAP Bible Study method (Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer). Our group has loved this method, as it is akin to journaling, and allows us to dig deeper into the text and gain a much greater understanding than simply reading alone. We are excited to study the lives of these Biblical women and the God who never left their side. Spring Study:Grace: A Bible Study on Ephesians for Women
Author: Keri Folmar Homework amount: Average 30-60 min/week Purchasing Information: Christos or Amazon Description From the foundation of the Old Testament, we know that grace is a part of God’s character. He is a loving and gracious God. In the New Testament, we learn about the role of grace in our faith and salvation. As we experience God’s grace in our lives and seek to be more like Jesus, we can have more grace with others. Having grace-filled hearts and lives prompt us to share God’s love. Join us as we study the concept of grace through a line-by-line reading of the book of Ephesians. We will use Keri Folmar's 10-week inductive Bible study to effectively guide us through a careful reading of God's Word. |

With Scripture memory, daily study, and group discussion questions, this resource is ideal for both individual and group study. Spring StudyEphesians: A Study of Faith and Practice

Fall & Spring StudyEsther: It’s Tough Being a Woman
Author: Beth Moore Homework: 2 - 2.5 hours / week Purchasing information: Christos and Amazon Description Beth Moore’s opening words in Esther ask, “What in the world am I doing here? And, Where in the world is God?” I think every woman who married a med student, resident, or physician asks this very question…especially if they’re experiencing their first Minnesota winter. Beth Moore wrote this study in 2008 saying, “if you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible Study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. This portion of God’s word contains treasures to us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.” Moore’s study on Esther delves into the captivating story of courage, faithfulness, and divine intervention. Even though the story of Esther never explicitly mentions God, His hand is seen orchestrating events behind the scenes through every twist and turn. This study will encourage us all to trust more profoundly in the providence of the Lord, and stand with courage in the face of adversity, like Esther. This study was originally designed to be done in 9 weeks, asking for at least one hour per day - a pace that would be nearly impossible for medical spouses! Fear not: our small group leadership team loves to SLOW the pace so that we all have time to complete the work and participate deeply in discussion. We’ll stream videos at home and complete 2 or 3 lessons per week. Our best guess is that you’ll need 2-2.5 total hours per week to complete the study. The workbook provides lots of prompts that will have us digging into scripture to uncover meaning. |

Spring StudyHebrews For Everyone
Author: N.T. Wright Homework: 1 hour / week Purchasing Information: Amazon Description For many Jewish Christians of the first century, living in the light of the gospel was challenging. Having accepted Jesus as the long-awaited Messiah, they were regarded by still-skeptical family, friends and neighbors as dangerous, misguided and even disloyal to all that God had said earlier on. The letter to the Hebrews was written to show that you can't go back to an earlier stage of God's purposes but must press on eagerly to the one that is yet to come. In these studies by Tom Wright we find encouragement and assurance that pressing on, even in the face of such close and constant pressure to fall back, is its own reward. |

The international class welcomes women from foreign countries with an interest in learning the beliefs of Christianity and seeking to improve their English conversational skills.
Is there a God? Can God be known? Who is Jesus? What does the Bible teach? If you have ever asked yourself any of these questions this class can help you find answers. In each class we study Bible stories which lay the foundation of the Christian faith. Additionally, we have an English lesson whose primary purpose is to expand your vocabulary and improve your conversational skills. Time is given in small groups to practice your English. |
