In 1988, a group of six women met at the home of a medical spouse, where they sat around a kitchen table discussing their connections, friendships and faith. Coming from different backgrounds, denominations and varied stages of the medical journey, they had one thing in common - they were sisters in faith and medicine. Side By Side began in Rochester, Minnesota in 1988 and to this day, the ministry has expanded both nationally and internationally with over 90 chapters.
